Founder and CEO

Becky Quarles is the project leader and principal analyst for every full-service Q-Catalytics project and is the primary consultant on all collaborative projects.

Becky understands marketing, advertising, and communications, as well as research, and this is part of what makes the research projects she leads truly actionable. Before founding Q-Catalytics, Becky was a senior executive with two of the nation’s largest research firms. She also had experience as a public relations practitioner and professor of Mass Communication at the University of Georgia and head of the Advertising/Public Relations Department in the College of Communication at Cleveland State University.

Becky has special expertise in market segmentation, targeting and messaging for communication campaigns, and product development/pricing.  She has extensive experience conducting research for health care, public health, finance, transportation, housing, media, science and technology.  Her primary focus is the design, management and analysis of survey research, but she is also a talented focus group moderator and executive interviewer.

Becky has served as a board member of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and has chaired conferences and seminars.  She has also served as president of both the Pacific and Washington/Baltimore chapters of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). Becky holds a doctorate in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
